Periodical: headquarters newsletter, 1968-1976 [state publication].

Headquarters Newsletter was a monthly publication which informed public library personnel of new procedures; books, periodical articles, and films; and upcoming conferences; and reminded personnel of various procedures; e.g., interlibrary loan requests, use of the Wats lines, due dates of annual reports, etc. It also contained seasonal suggestions for reading - for example "The Legend of the Dogwood" for Easter - and some updates on federal and state legislation. The series documents the agency's function in coordinating the activities of public libraries and in encouraging their use in the state.
